I originally trained at the Public Record Office in London. After ten years of archive conservation in the civil service I undertook a diploma course in Prints & Drawings Restoration at Camberwell School of Arts & Crafts. I established my first conservation studio in 1981 and moved to larger premises in 1986 establishing an independant group of related craft and artist studios known as New Hoxton Workshops. In the early part of 1993 the majority of studios moved to the present building in Coronet street.
I am a member of ICON & listed with the Conservation Unit's Register of Conservators.
The studio specialises in the conservation & restoration of all works of art on paper and parchment. This field encompasses watercolours, prints (engravings, etchings. lithographs or any other print medium), drawings, posters, maps & manuscripts as well as all types of archival material. We specialise in the conservation of large posters maps and prints.
